  Very pleased with recent experiences at Western Slope Health in Placerville. They have treated a mutual client/patient with excellent attention and care. Communication has been better than I have experienced at any other skilled nursing facility. The staff at this facility have gone above and beyond to ensure that the client/patient will have a successful outcome after discharge. Amazing teamwork! They truly seem to care about the person as a whole and not just nursing care. The Social Services team deserves much praise for going above and beyond. I look forward to working with this agency again in the future.

  First off all the people writing these reviews work there, my friends mom went in for a stroke one week ago, and is still there, the food is horrible, they have people sitting in wheel chairs obstructing the hallways, they have said mean and horrible things to her, they don't change her catheter, and she's always complaining about burning down there, she had a seizure and the nurses just left her alone and played dumb. This is not the hospital you want to send your loved ones too.

  If I could give this s**thole NO STARS I would. This is all that these horrible staff and doctors have done and said: My mother was 120 pounds when she entered your facility and lost a total of 5 pounds because of the MUSHY GARBAGE you have been feeding her when she is able to eat hard food with her dentures. On March 31st my mother explained to me she was “shaking like a rag doll” (AFTER SMOKING A CIGARETTE WHICH CAUSED HER SEIZURE) and couldn’t control her muscles, to which whomever took her back to her room and didn’t wake her up for the rest of the day because she was “so tired” Classic symptoms of a SEIZURE YOU DUMB F**S. My mother has complained to me for several days about a burning sensation near her urinary tract as well as burning during urination, they ran labs on her urine, but STILL have not started her on anti biotics, mind you my mother contracted SEPSIS in 2013 due to AN UNTREATED UTI IN WHICH THEY SENT HER HOME WITH She also has complained of hives and rashes on her body which NOTHING HAS BEEN GIVEN FOR IT. Your staff/nurses are extremely rude and told my mother “you’re not the only sick person here” as well as “we have more important patients than you” They also changed her REGULATED MEDICINE without consent of her primary care doctor. I will be going to the hospital board as well as the executor of this god awful facility.
